Directions
to Moore RUFC
The Club is situated approximately 3 miles south
west of Warrington, Cheshire.
Approaching via Warrington
Follow the A56 from Warrington. The A56 will pass
over the Manchester Ship canal about 1 mile south of Warrington. After
passing over the canal, keep on the A56 to the first set of traffic
lights. At these lights, turn right, signposted Moore. After about 1½
miles the Bridgewater canal will be on your lefthand side, this is followed
by a bad "S" bend on which you turn right into Moss lane.
The Club is approximately ¼ of a mile on your right.
Approaching
from the South, West or East
From the M56, come off at Junction 11 and turn onto the A56 towards
Warrington. Follow this road ignoring all signs for Moore for the moment.
Pass over a roundabout and keep towards Warrington untill you come to
a set of traffic lights. Turn left at these lights, signposted Moore.
After about 1½ miles the Bridgewater canal will be on your lefthand
side, this is followed by a bad "S" bend on which you turn
right into Moss lane. The Club is approximately ¼ of a mile on
your right.
Approaching from Liverpool,
Runcorn
From Liverpool cross the Runcorn/Widnes bridge and take the first left
turn and immediately go to the righthand lane. This road will lead onto
the A533 signposted Northwich. This road becomes the A558 signposted
Warrington. Follow this to the second roundabout (approx 6 miles), At
this roundabout turn left towards Warrington, A56, and follow the road
to the first set of traffic lights. Turn left at these lights, signposted
Moore. After about 1½ miles the Bridgewater canal will be on
your lefthand side, this is followed by a bad "S" bend on
which you turn right into Moss lane. The Club is approximately ¼
of a mile on your right.
